Before the lockdown, before Gavin Brown closed up shop, I saw Frida Orupabo at Gavin Brown Rome and it was a beautiful, powerful, and timely show. I wrote about it for FlashArt Italia. And FlashArt International.
So proud to have this essay in such an important journal. My heart and mind are behind what is in this essay now more than ever.

Special thanks to Carlos Dews for his bringing to this journal and kind, generous, and touch editor Dale Peck.

Some reflections on remembering the pleasure in reading in NERO thanks to my dear friend Giulia Crispiani editor ❤ I needed to write this.
So honored and excited to have this excerpt of my translation of Carla Lonzi’s Autoritratto in the Los Angeles Review of Books
Thank you Boris Dralyuk for your enthusiasm and support, this is a step towards the anglophone audience Carla deserves.
On 12 October 2019 I gave a performative lecture at Gavin Brown in Trastevere. This was a talk and song on the poetic line: thinking with Charles Olson, R. Murray Schafer, Avital Ronell, Rebecca Comay, Willa Cather and so many more. It was a beautiful and strikingly moving occasion for me, under Laura Owen’s wonderous painting. I do hope I get to do more performances like this one in the near future.
I am so excited to share this review I wrote for Words Without Borders and hopefully encourage more writers to check out this gorgeous books from Wave Books edited by Ben Lerner. Keep/ the window open is a collection of some of Keith and Rosmarie Waldrop’s most important work of all kinds.
