Allison Grimaldi Donahue

I wrote an essay on the work of Flavio Favelli, one of my favorite contemporary artists, over at 3:AM Magazine. It’s a hybrid of theory and personal, a hybrid I ardently believe in. The piece is about illness and aliens and death, but also memory and object.

After sharing the essay with him he invited me to check out his new work-shop in Venice for the Biennale. See you in Venice next week!
